In Paris, “Napoleon, the Immersive Epic” brings to life the great moments of the character, with emotion and historical rigor.

Galeries Montparnasse present a successful virtual experience in the emperor's universe. We tested it before opening.

This experience will be available from 2025 in France and Belgium. Through this production, the Sandora Studio invites visitors to relive the key moments in the Emperor's Life, from his victories to his exile, in an interactive reconstruction.

On the occasion of the 220th anniversary of the coronation of Napoleon, Sandora VR offers an immersive virtual reality experience at the heart of the emperor's life, from the major battlefields of his career to his exile on the island of Saint-Helene.

“Napoleon, The Immersive Epic” is experienced by moving in an enclosed space. The activity thus takes place in a room of only 60 m². Up to ten people simultaneously share it.

It's the first project from Sandora, a Paris-based company founded in 2024 that aims to create immersive experiences with a cultural emphasis. Here, it has worked with a committee of historians to make sure its product is accurate.

Where is the experience located?

You can discover “Napoleon, the Immersive Saga” at Galeries Montparnasse, an indoor and air-conditioned cultural space located at the foot of the Montparnasse Tower.

Can we buy tickets on site?

It is possible to buy your ticket on site within the limit of available seats.

What is an ambulatory virtual reality experience?

In an ambulatory VR experience, you can move freely in a dedicated space while being equipped with a virtual reality headset. Unlike static experiences where you sit still, here you naturally walk and explore the universe around you. The 60 m² space is designed to guarantee your comfort and safety. A tracking system allows you to see your hands and other visitors in the form of avatars. Our team is there to support you every step of the way.

What is the minimum age required to participate in Napoleon experience?

Napoleon experience is designed to be accessible to a wide audience, starting at the age of 8. This ensures that they can fully enjoy the experience, both in terms of narrative comprehension and in terms of interacting with virtual reality elements.

What time should I arrive for my experience?

It is requested to arrive at least 15 minutes before the time indicated on your ticket in order to guarantee your entry and to take full advantage of the introductory space of the experience. Please note that no entry will be possible after the selected time.

In what language is the experience available?

The virtual reality experience is available in two languages: French & English.

Is the experience available to people with reduced mobility?

Yes, the virtual reality experience is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Can we participate in an experience while wearing eyeglasses?

Yes, it is entirely possible to participate in our immersive experiences while wearing eyeglasses. Our virtual reality headsets are designed to fit most glasses, allowing viewers with vision problems to fully enjoy the experience without compromising their comfort.

Can visitors with heart problems, epilepsy or pacemaker can participate ?

No, to participate in the experience you should not wear a pacemaker or have heart problems or epilepsy.
