From February 16 to August 17, 2025, the renowned Brussels museum welcomes the spectacular exhibition Napoleon, The Immersive Saga. Forget about dusty display cases! For 27 minutes, with a VR headset on, you will move freely within a 60 m² space, where time and history merge seamlessly.

Dive into history with the exhibition Napoleon, The Immersive Saga! Enjoy a unique 30-minute virtual reality experience at the Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and of Military History in Brussels starting 16 February 2025, and discover Napoleon I in an entirely new light.

The virtual reality experience is introduced by an exhibition curated by the Royal Military Museum, showcasing authentic objects from its collections of weapons, uniforms, paintings, and personal belongings of Napoleon, providing historical context before the immersion.

What can I expect from Napoleon: The Immersive Epic?

“Napoleon, the Immersive Saga” is a one-hour exhibition during which you will relive the history of the First Empire. You will be welcomed with an educational introduction to the First Empire period. Then, equipped with a virtual reality headset, you will relive the imperial saga alongside Napoleon and the great moments that shaped his legend, for better or for worse. You will move freely in a space of 60m² and explore the emblematic places and moments recreated with meticulous historical precision. Whether you are alone, with friends or with family, this collective adventure offers you a unique opportunity to rediscover History in a different way.

What is the minimum age required to participate in Napoleon experience?

Napoleon experience is designed to be accessible to a wide audience, starting at the age of 8. This ensures that they can fully enjoy the experience, both in terms of narrative comprehension and in terms of interacting with virtual reality elements.

What time should I arrive for my experience?

It is requested to arrive at least 15 minutes before the time indicated on your ticket in order to guarantee your entry and to take full advantage of the introductory space of the experience. Please note that no entry will be possible after the selected time.

Can I make a group reservation?

Is the experience available to people with reduced mobility?

Yes, the virtual reality experience is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Can we participate in an experience while wearing eyeglasses?

Yes, it is entirely possible to participate in our immersive experiences while wearing eyeglasses. Our virtual reality headsets are designed to fit most glasses, allowing viewers with vision problems to fully enjoy the experience without compromising their comfort.

In what languages is the experience available?

“Napoleon, the Immersive Epic” is available in three languages: French, English and Flemish.

Can visitors with heart problems, epilepsy or pacemaker can participate ?

No, to participate in the experience you should not wear a pacemaker or have heart problems or epilepsy.
